Oh wow... the memories. I read majority of these books in school. I read a Tale of Two Cities twice [once in middle school and again in high school]. I even saw the Wishbone version of the story. Of the listed Catcher in the Rye became apart of a to read list item because of an anime I saw that featured the book which was used as a focal point in a case that had more twists in it than a bag of pretzels. Of Mice and Men probably would have never gotten read if I didn't have to retake English 2; its okay I was able to take both English 2 and 3 at the same time. Of the books, Lord of the Flies was just one of those books... even seeing the movie adaption didn't help subdue the contents. Awesome listing by the way.

Hello, some of these books are fantastic, but I wrote a lens about a book that influenced me during my adolescence, "The Little Prince" by Saint Exupery. Here is my sharing another book although not any of these ...

I read The Little Prince ages ago. There is a lovely cartoon version of the story. Did you find that for your review?

There is? All I saw was a live action movie.

Great selection of books. My kids have had to read so many of these for required high school reading, probably 85% - good school, good kids.

I've read most of these stories. I tried to read Ayn Rand but found it a bit difficult (don't ask, even I don't know). Catcher in the Rye didn't become an interest till after I saw a movie highlighting it. I just might take a look into this.

I've read about half of these, and many of the others are on my 'to read' list (like "Atlas Shrugged"). Great list.
