My favorite children's book is not on the list either, but no doubt young readers will love Gracie! http://www.squidoo.com/gracie-the-undercover-beagle-investigates-the-egg-thief-mystery

The hard part was just doing one. But Dr. Seuss won out. And even then it was picking just one.

I love so many of the books you've chosen. Several of them my son and I enjoyed reading together, others I've heard of and would love to read too. I've chosen yet another excellent children's book, The Tiger Who Came for Tea by Judith Kerr http://www.squidoo.com/the-tiger-who-came-to-tea-by-judith-kerr
